    Description

3 Arkansas postcards, 2 of Pine Ridge: both show the Lum and Abner Store, unused hard to judge age as 1 appears to be a late linen and 1 early chome
my est. is 1945-1955, and Fayetteville shows the Office Drug and Book Store Mt. Sequoyah linen era used 1938. All standard size.   Condition is 2 excellent, and 1 (Fayetteville) is good+ due to a vertical bend near center but appears to be very good+.  Condition is always subjective so please review the scan and make your own decision as to condition.  If you have any questions, please send me a message in advance of the auction's closing.
Mt. Sequoyah is the home of the Western Methodist Assembly which is owned by the Methodist Church.  Lum N' Abner was a popular radio show from 1932-1954 set in the fictional Pine Ridge Arkansas.  Waters Arkansas was the inspiration for the show and its characters, and in 1936 Waters changed its name to Pine Ridge.  The principal characters operated a general store, like the one in postcard.
