We do use a best estimate to cover our real costs based upon what we are shipping, estimated weight, packing requirements, what shipping method we are using and when the customer wants / needs to receive the item(s) purchased from us.
Our concern in shipping is for prompt service and tracking accountability primarily on the part of the Post Office. Now using PayPal, First Class Mail provides some tracking that used to only be available with Priority Mail purchased on-line.
Shipping Policy within the United States:
Within the U.S. we always ship smaller items via U.S.P.S. with delivery confirmation. Larger items will be shipped via U.S.P.S., UPS or Fed-Ex ground at our discretion / convenience. We will gladly combine shipping to help you save on the shipping costs for items where it is feasible or possible in terms of:
1)
Packaging constraints of the items purchased.
2) Receipt of a message prior to auction end or payment questioning the combined shipping amount or expressing an interest in combined shipping.
3) Timing of notice of multiple auctions / wins from you. If more than 2 days apart and we have not heard from you as per #2 above, shipments will not be combined as the first purchase will most likely have already shipped per our shipping terms.
Shipping Policy to Our International Customers:
We are sorry but due to two very recent delivery problems due to the unreliability of international shipping process despite the fact that we paid for tracking and insurance, we are increasing the cost of international shipping by using registered service. This will add to the cost of shipping but will guarantee tracking in the receiving country.
We can now accept bids from customers throughout the world whom have both a valid PayPal account and a confirmed mailing address. Without exception all international shipments will ship U.S.P.S. Priority Mail International small envelope or flat rate box US, medium flat rate box US or large flat rate box 5US registered international mail with insurance as appropriate processed via PayPal for tracking purposes to eliminate any potential claims of non-delivery. A shipping / handling charge is applied as stated in the auction.
We are never responsible for any customs duties, levies, taxes of any type or other fees or any kind imposed by the buyers’ home city, province, county, state, country or other governing body.
