This listing is for a set of four saucers in the
Briar Rose (Gold Trim)
design. The saucers, which measure approximately 5-7/8" in diameter, were produced in Bavaria, Germany by
Schumann
. The pattern has since been retired. These fine porcelain saucers feature a white body, briar rose decor, embossed scrolls along the rim, gold trim, and a scalloped edge.
CONDITION
You'll find these saucers
to be,
at worst
, in near-mint condition with only extremely minimal, virtually nonexistent, and infinitesimal surface wear. (If I see even a single utensil mark or the most insignificant scratch, I won't list an item as mint.) Some of the saucers are in mint, unused, like new condition with absolutely no surface wear at all. Whether mint or near-mint, the floral ornamentation is pristine and unblemished, the colors are vivid with no fading or discoloration, and the glaze shines like new. Additionally, all of the saucers are completely free of cracks, chips, nicks, crazing, stains, repairs, permanent hard water deposits, and detergent residue.
