    Description

Made by Schumann between 1932-1944 in Bavaria Germany, this very dainty BEAUTIFUL 4" reticulated or pierced porcelain bowl with beautiful lattice cutouts surrounded by real gold hand painted spring flowers. This one is a bit more unusual (and
    RARER
) than most as it carries the Heidelberg Coat of Arms in full color of black, gold, green and deep pink. It shows a standing lion, wearing a crown, his tongue sticking out and curling up and standing on the green royal throne. Their agricultural commodity on his back and their fortress above his head at the top of the Coat of Arms; looking like a crown. The royal colors of Heidelberg, the deep pink, gold and green coming out of the fortress where the King lived. Heidelberg was a great city at this time and still is today being know for higher education with many colleges and universities. The bowl can be used for nuts, candies, fruits, or desserts in dining. Or it's a wonderful piece to show in a china cabinet or on a side table, great conversation piece, vintage collectible (most likely pre-World War II) in AMAZING condition for age! Can be used to hold keys, spare change, rings or cuff links, small items like rubber bands, paper clips, or small toys. PERFECT gift for anyone who is from this area or visited this beautiful area of Germany! PERFECT gift for any collector in your life! From a 100% smoke and pet free home. Only 1 available. Pay securely with any major credit or debit card. No returns, refunds, exchanges. Priority shipping.
