SDL MOPA Laser diode replacement for SDL 5762-A6 mopa laser various wavelengths

New old stock MOPA ( Master Oscillator Power Amplifier) laser diodes.
Rare and unique. These are direct replacements for the SDL model 5762-A6 MOPA laser.
These laser diodes require two power supplies, One for the oscillator (or seed laser) and the other for the amplifier laser. See pic of my setup with a model SDL 800M driver for the seed and model LDI (SDL) 820 driver for the amplifier. The MOPA laser diodes have three input terminals, One each for the Osc. and Amp Anodes and one for the cathodes that are tied together from both drivers.
The max. current for the seed laser is about 250ma, the amplifier about 2.5 A. Though I have seen the operating currents vary as much as 91- 240 ma for the seed and 2.17-3.06 A for the amplifier diode.
You will have to determine the best current yourself as it will vary diode to diode.
MOPA lasers have advantages over other type diodes which I am not listing here.
You can build a MOPA laser yourself around this diode. I will be listing a set of the tiny optics train used to collimate the beam from a model 5762-A6. I think I removed them from a laser in very poor shape. It's been a while. You will need some way to collimate the emitter that is about 2mm wide.
Each is bolted securely in the esd container shown. Be very careful not to disturb the fine wires on the output end. Each has been tested for wavelength and output minimum of 1/2 watt (some were doing 1 1/4 watts). But again, output will be determined by adjustment of the currents for the two diodes. Testing jig in pics not included. Mine uses a tec and 10K thermistor for keeping it @ 25*C. I will include a small piece of indium for mounting.
