    Description

    Set of 8 Carl Schumann Dresden Style Floral Garland & Green Scrolls Bread Plates
    Set of 8 pretty porcelain reticulated bread plates. Each bread plate is nicely decorated in the Dresden style with small flowers in the center. These are surrounded by floral garlands in pink, purple, white, orange, yellow, and blue. This is surrounded by a thin band of green, white and black scrollwork. With gold gilding along the edge. These are just marked Germany on the reverse, but I have only seen Germany in this script on Carl Schumann porcelain, this is in the style the company was famous for, and matches some of his blanks.
    These may have some wear to the gilding and some have small in manufacture stacking flakes to the foot rim, but they are in otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Each plate measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide.
    These are probably antiques and as such may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the pieces.
